Through its Fair for Life project, EcoSo Dynamics supports and creates meaningful income-generating opportunities through employment as well as harvesting organically certified Devil’s Claw.

EcoSo Dynamics’ main Fair For Life partners are the Turi Pamwe Harvester Association (43 registered harvesters) and the Nyae Nyae Conservancy (409 registered harvesters). The Fair For Life project allows for the highest prices to be paid for harvested Devil’s Claw.

 

Through the funds generated by this collaboration, the Turi Pamwe Harvester Association (TPHA) has been able to provide its members with loans to enable them to purchase solar systems for personal use. Since these loans are paid back, TPHA is able to offer other meaningful contributions in future, e.g. provision of water for gardening projects, investments in a Taxi for transportation or loans for other income-generating activities.

 

The Fair For Life certification guides and ensures that EcoSo Dynamics provides a safe and friendly work environment that guarantees fair remuneration for its human resources. It is the employees’ responsibility to receive, sort and re-bag Devil’s Claw for export, which EcoSo Dynamics buys from various regions in Namibia. The product is directly exported, mainly to Europe, from Farm Otjekongo.

 

Since last year, EcoSo Dynamics has been part of an exciting partnership with Namibian Naturals, a company based in Germany. Namibian Naturals markets Namibian products and sell our organically and fairly traded products under the Ecocert and Fair For Life standards. The range of products consists of Devil’s Claw capsules, Devil’s Claw tea as well as powder for horses and tablets for dogs.
